What we do

ARE YOU LOOKING TO DEVELOP A CREATIVE CAREER?

Our Engage programme supports young people who would like to enter or who are in the early stages of a career in the creative industries. We offer an annual programme of online masterclasses, in-person training days and 1-to-1 mentoring opportunities, connecting aspiring young creatives with professional artists, event managers, producers and directors.

How we do it

We offer a number of opportunities throughout the year, all free of charge:

SPOTLIGHT SESSIONS

Online & in-person masterclass workshops with visiting professionals discussing their careers and answering your questions on pathways into the profession. We aim to cover a range of topics throughout the year to encompass performance, production, marketing, technical production, event management and more.

IN-PERSON TRAINING DAYS

We host in-person training days each year, providing a space for young creatives to talk, learn and collaborate together. 

MENTORING OPPORTUNITIES

Would you benefit from a personal conversation with someone already working in your chosen creative profession? Would you like to visit and observe them in a rehearsal space, to understand the real-life aspects of their role? Our mentoring opportunities can make this happen.

CREATIVE FORUMS

In person opportunities for young people to come together and explore specific creative issues, topics, roles etc

RICNIC ASSOCIATES

Each year we offer a number of paid work placements for young people aged 16-25 to join the staff team,focusing on different aspects of development and working on key projects
