Aimed at under-16s, Foundry provides spaces for children and their families to explore creative skills with an end goal of creating events or products for their local community. This includes after-school young-enterprise style projects, free holiday clubs including HAF, and one-off workshops with visiting artists such as West-End performers.

Foundry – After-School Term Time Clubs
At RicNic, you take the lead. Join a creative community where young people shape their own projects, build new skills, and work alongside professional artists. Our Foundry After-School Youth Club programme welcomes ages 5–16 for 10‑week terms filled with imagination, teamwork, & fun.
Come along, get stuck in, and see what you can create.
Foundry Makers
Young makers with big ideas. In Foundry Makers, you’ll design and create your own products and crafts, then sell them at real community events. Learn hands‑on skills, work as a team, and make things the local community will love. If you’re curious, crafty, and full of ideas, this is your space to shine.

Foundry Performers
If you love the buzz of performing, Foundry Performers is where it all happens. You’ll create your own performance events, exploring music, singing, dance and drama in all kinds of styles. Build confidence, try new things, and take to the stage with your own creative voice. Perfect for anyone who wants to move, make noise, and express themselves. Ages 7-16

Foundry Creatives
Foundry Creatives is for young people who want to try a bit of everything. Each term you’ll mix drama, creative writing, art, design and media to build your own projects from the ground up. Experiment, explore, and discover what inspires you most. A great fit for curious minds who love blending ideas and making something new. Ages 7-16

Holiday Clubs
During the holidays we have an array of different activity days available to book on to, or just to drop in! We also run HAF (Holiday Activities and Food) days for those who are eligible over the summer. Here we provide creative sessions from drama and dance, to origami and friendship bracelet making.
Holiday projects have included workshops with cast members from Hamilton, Mary Poppins, and Aladdin, writing and voiceover workshops contributing to the Travelling Tales Digital Library, and craft workshops with products sold at Walsall MakerFest.
