RicNic Staffordshire – Grease

After a fantastic run of ‘Into The Woods’ last summer, RicNic Staffordshire are proud to present their 2023 production of Grease. Playing at the Brewhouse Arts Centre in Burton-upon-Trent, Staffordshire this August Bank Holiday weekend for those last few ‘Summer Nights’ of the year!

Grease follows the journey of Danny Zuko and Sandy Dumbrowski, alongside the Burger Palace Boys and the Pink Ladies, as they navigate high school to the unforgettable rock n’ roll soundtrack that defined generations. Enjoy hit songs such as “Greased Lightnin’,” “Hopelessly Devoted to You,” “You’re The One That I Want,” and “Summer Nights” from the 1978 motion picture as well as the famous ‘Hand Jive’ which is sure to get audiences dancing and clapping along! “GREASE” is presented through special arrangement with and all authorised performance materials are supplied by Theatrical Rights Worldwide (TRW), www.theatricalrights.co.uk

RicNic is an arts charity working across the UK to give young people the opportunity to stage a full-scale musical theatre production, with the participants retaining all creative control and an extensive support network in place to guide and mentor them through this process. Everyone involved in this production, from the director, to the dancers, to the designer, to the drummer, is aged 16-22.
